There is a strong emphasis on technical support and consultancy.Turning concepts into finished reality
The core of The Box Room’s operations is a sophisticated database and system to exploit its potential. This database is what makes our performance uniquely successful. From this, and scanned-in new material, fresh artwork can be rapidly and accurately produced, embodying all relevant fully updated specifications. Then after approvals, the required film separations are directly generated for whichever print process is to be used. In this way, The Box Room has produced, quickly and inexpensively, some of the most complex and technically demanding packaging in the world. Supplying of material in any format required - digital files, films, plates or cylinders -plus liaison with designers and printers, and the creation of wet or cromalin proofs and samples. Clients gain a strengthened corporate image, and considerable cost savings, when the origination of their packaging and point of sale material are centralised. Pre-press remains a core business
Now supplemented and reinforced by many inter-linked creative, technical products and services. These include packaging consultancy, brand harmonization, process development, special effects and animation, web technologies, sales support and I.C.E. A common thread is the digital storage of information, allowing it to be used in print, web, CD-ROMs, and interactive environments. By avoiding duplication, ensuring consistency, preventing waste and loss, removing redundant stages in the design-to print workflow, quality standards are raised and substantial savings made. The focus is on origination, design editing, artwork archiving and project control, but the resources offer far more. “Finished” packs can be reviewed, pre-sold, used in TV and photo-shoots, all before the print run. Presentations and advertising can be created. Three-dimensional models and animated action can derive from simple design concepts. |
